A community Maundy Thursday service will be held tonight at 5:30 p.m. at Cowan Fellowship Church with speaker Rev. Dr. Joe Butler, interim pastor of the Goshen Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  All are welcome.

Good Friday

Cowan First Baptist Church, located at 316 West Cumberland St. in Cowan, will host a Good Friday service featuring a live diorama, “Stations of the Cross,” on the front lawn of the church on Friday at 5:30 p.m. In case of inclement weather, it will be held inside.

Easter egg hunt

Everyone is invited to a two-day, indoor Easter egg hunt featuring more than 10,000 eggs on Friday and Saturday at Vision Church, 112 First Ave. SE, Winchester. The hunt is free. Sign up to provide age of children and select a time and date to attend by calling 813-390-4810.

Food distribution

Morton Memorial Church, 322 West Main St., Monteagle, will hold a curbside food distribution on Saturday from 8-10 a.m. Volunteers will assist anyone unable to load their vehicle.

An Easter egg hunt will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Mt. Olive P.B. Church, 701 Hunt St., Winchester.

Tullahoma Sangha

Tullahoma Sangha, a Zen Buddhist meditation and study group, meets each Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Unitarian Universalist Church of Tullahoma, 3536 New Manchester Hwy., Tullahoma.  The service will consist of zazen (meditation), a short lesson and discussion. Food distribution

A food/grocery distribution will be held for all in need on April 15 beginning at 9 a.m. at Christ the King Anglican Church, located at 1231 Cumberland St. in Decherd. The event is held in association with Feed America First and distribution will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please remain in vehicles once in the parking lot.

April 17-21

Free Gospel singing school

The Winchester Civic Choir will host a free Gospel singing school April 17-21 from 6-8 p.m. at Winchester First United Methodist Church. All ages are welcome. Instruction will include theory class, group singing and shaped-note convention-style music.
