Fall Heritage Festival Beauty Pageant is Aug. 6

The 2023 Fall Heritage Festival Beauty Pageant will be held on Aug. 6 at Monterey Station, 104 Monterey Street, in Cowan.

The pageant is a fundraiser for the Fall Heritage Festival, which provides a three-day, free festival from Sept. 15-17 in Cowan featuring vendors, exhibits, live music, kids activities and fireworks.   

Admission to the pageant is $10 per person with children younger than 5 admitted free. Doors open to the public at 1 p.m.

Categories include: Baby Boy: newborn to 4 years; Baby Miss: newborn through 1 year; Wee Miss: 2-3 years; Tiny Miss: 4-6 years; Petit Miss: 7-9 years; Junior Miss: 10-12 years; Teen Miss: 13-15 years; Miss: 16-21 years; and Mrs.: 18 and older.

There will be awards for the queen; first, second third and fourth runner-up; Most Photogenic; Most Beautiful; Best Dressed; Prettiest Hair; Best Personality; and People’s Choice.

Attire is pageant dress. Crowning will be held after every two categories. Dressing rooms will be available.

Turn in photogenic photos (no larger than 8×10 with name on back of photo) on the pageant day.

Pageant registration is $25. The application deadline is July 31. No registrations will be accepted at the door.
