A grocery and food distribution will be held in the community on Saturday starting at 9 a.m. at Christ the King Anglican Church, 1231 Cumberland St., Decherd. Remain in vehicles.

Singing

Everyone is invited to a singing on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at Huntland Missionary Baptist Church, 306 Alabama St., Huntland, featuring the bluegrass group Mark Askew and Friends. A meal will follow.

Sims Family at Wilder Chapel

The Wilder Chapel Congregational Methodist Church will be hosting the Sims Family Gospel group on Sunday at 6 p.m. The church is located at 1558 Wilder Chapel Road in Decherd.

Wilder Chapel Fall Festival

The Wilder Chapel Congregational Methodist Church, 1558 Wilder Chapel Road, Decherd, will be hosting its Fall Festival on Oct. 21 starting at 5 p.m. The event will feature barbecue, carnival games, candy, face-painting, popcorn, snow cones and a showing of “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.”
