Oct. 28

Autumn fest singing

An autumn fest singing featuring the music group Revival will be held at the Apostolic Church of Restoration, 324 W. Cumberland Street, Cowan, on Saturday at 5 p.m. Enjoy a concession stand with all proceeds going to the church youth group. A love offering will be taken for the singers.

Master illusionist

Everyone is invited to see professional illusionist and evangelist Matt Adams on Saturday from 7-8 p.m. at Winchester First Baptist Church, 108 South High St., Winchester. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. A drawing for door prizes will be held and goodie bags will be presented to children.

Fall festival

Everyone is invited to a fall festival for trunk-or-treat food and fun on Saturday starting at 4 p.m. at the FAC Pavilion located behind Hardee’s in Winchester. Enjoy a bounce house, cornhole and a chili contest.

Guest speaker

Rev. Tom Castor, veteran missionary and pastor, is the guest speaker at Marble Plains Baptist Church, 525 Marble Plains Road, Winchester, on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. and Wednesday at 6 p.m.

Jesus is the Light

Everyone is invited to a Jesus is the Light celebration on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. featuring chili, hot dogs, cotton candy, cider and a candy-and-fruit bag for children at the Greater Faith Community Church Christian Center, 100 Sims Lane, Tullahoma.

Nov. 23

Community Thanksgiving dinner

931Cares is partnering with The Table in Cowan and Winchester First United Methodist Church to welcome everyone (those who are too tired to cook, can’t cook or feel it’s too expensive to cook) to a community Thanksgiving dinner on Thanksgiving, Nov. 23 from noon to 4 p.m. You may eat at Winchester First United Methodist Church, 100 South Jefferson Street, Winchester, or at The Table in Cowan at 106 Rogers Street. 931Cares will also deliver plates to those in need. If you know of a person in need, please email 931Cares@gmail.com and provide the name, address and number of meals needed (no other information will be requested).
