STLS enjoys fashion show for November meeting
Members of the Southern Tennessee Ladies’ Society enjoyed a fashion show presented at their meeting on Nov. 6 at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
After a recap of their successful Holiday Market held on Nov. 3-4 at the Franklin County Annex, thanks was extended to all who participated in the event which is held each year to raise scholarship money for area students.
STLS Vice President Sandy Shultz introduced Cynthia Pierce, owner of About Town Apparel, located at 301 South College Street in Winchester. Pierce provided casual and dressy fashions from her store that were modeled by STLS members.
“The fashionistas all looked gorgeous in the variety of styles, from tall to tiny, causal to dressy,” Shultz said.
A delicious meal of fried chicken with sides was enjoyed by all.
The Southern Tennessee Ladies’ Society meets the first Wednesday of the month to promote social fun and fellowship and raise money for educational scholarships.
The next meeting is set for Dec. 4. Social time will be held at 9:30 a.m. followed by the meeting at 10 a.m. The meeting will include beautiful holiday music and fun. All ladies are welcome.
