Principals named for FCHS, DES
Incoming Director of Schools Dr. Roger Alsup has officially named the new leadership for two of the district’s campuses with Brittney Butner being selected as Franklin County High School principal and Shaunna Fortier being designated for the same role at Decherd Elementary School.

Weaver recognized for conservation leadership
The National Conservation District Employees Association recently announced Ray Weaver of the Coffee County Soil and Water Conservation District as the recipient of its Outstanding District Board Member Award during the organization’s national awards presentation held alongside the National Association of Conservation Districts Annual Conference.
