Blessing of the animals
Everyone is invited to bring their pets to a service for a blessing of the animals on Sunday at 5 p.m. in the courtyard at Trinity Episcopal Church, 213 1st Avenue NW in Winchester.

Singing
Everyone is invited to a singing on Oct. 15 at 10:30 a.m. at Huntland Missionary Baptist Church, 306 Alabama St., Huntland, featuring the bluegrass group Mark Askew and Friends. A meal will follow.
Sims Family at Wilder Chapel
The Wilder Chapel Congregational Methodist Church will be hosting the Sims Family Gospel group on Oct. 15 at 6 p.m. The church is located at 1558 Wilder Chapel Road in Decherd.

Wilder Chapel Fall Festival
The Wilder Chapel Congregational Methodist Church, 1558 Wilder Chapel Road, Decherd, will be hosting its Fall Festival on Oct. 21 starting at 5 p.m. The event will feature barbecue, carnival games, candy, face-painting, popcorn, snow cones and a showing of “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.”

Everyone is invited to see master illusionist and evangelist Matt Adams on Oct. 28 from 6-7 p.m. at Winchester First Baptist Church, 108 South High St., Winchester. A drawing for door prizes will be held.
